PandaDoc alternative

Just need it signed?

PandaDoc is a proposal and document-automation suite, and in its own words "eSignature is just one of PandaDoc's many features." If signatures are the only feature you use, you are paying for the rest — and counting documents to do it. MostlySign does the signing part only, with no document cap on any paid plan.

Straight talk

When PandaDoc is the better buy.

PandaDoc and MostlySign are not the same kind of product, and for plenty of teams PandaDoc is the right one:

You send proposals and quotes
Pricing tables, a product catalogue, quote building and a content library are PandaDoc's core. We have none of it.
Your documents live in a CRM
PandaDoc's CRM integrations, Salesforce included, generate and track documents from the deal. Ours is an API and webhooks.
You want to get paid on signature
PandaDoc collects payments in the document. MostlySign does not take payments.
You send five a month, to two people
PandaDoc's free plan allows more than ours: 5 documents a month with up to 2 recipients, against our 3 with 1 signer.

What's left is the team that only sends agreements for signature and has outgrown a free plan. There, PandaDoc's Starter plan counts documents and Business is priced per seat; MostlySign is unlimited from $10 a month and $24 a month covers ten people.

What every document carries.

The same on the free plan as on the paid ones — the proof isn't the upsell.

A full audit trail
Sent, opened, viewed, consented, signed — each to the second in UTC, with the IP it came from, printed on a certificate of completion that travels inside the PDF.
A real cryptographic seal
A PAdES digital signature over the finished bytes, plus an RFC 3161 timestamp from an independent authority. Edit one character afterwards and the seal breaks, visibly.
Proof that leaves with you
Check a signed document in Adobe Reader or at the European Commission's EU DSS validator. How the seal works, including the one caveat we'd rather state than have you discover.

Send one and see.

Three documents a month, free, forever. No card, no trial clock, and the same seal and audit trail the paid plans get.
