Three documents a month, forever, with no credit card and no trial clock. Not a stripped demo — the seal, the timestamp, the audit trail and the certificate of completion are all included on the free plan.
The limit is one number, printed on the pricing card. There is nothing else withheld.
Yes. In the United States the ESIGN Act and UETA give an electronic signature the same legal effect as a handwritten one, and in the EU, eIDAS Article 25 says an electronic signature cannot be denied legal effect merely for being electronic. None of that depends on what you paid.
What matters in a dispute is evidence: who signed, when, from where, that they agreed to sign electronically, and that the document has not changed since. Every MostlySign document — free ones included — records that chain and seals it into the PDF as a certificate of completion.
To be precise about the limits: we provide standard electronic signatures. We do not perform government-ID or knowledge-based identity proofing, we do not offer notarization, and we do not issue eIDAS advanced or qualified signatures. For NDAs, contracts, offers and consents, a standard electronic signature is what the law recognises and what almost everyone needs. If your situation specifically calls for qualified signatures, that is a different product.
Three documents a month covers a lot of people. If it stops covering you:
